Masonic Widow Outreach with Poinsettias

#DidYouKnow that the poinsettia was named after Brother Joel Roberts Poinsett?
He served as the first US Minister to Mexico in 1825 where he learned about the Flor de Nochebuena (Christmas Eve Flower) and later brought it to the US making it widely popular.
Again, this year, our District has planned a Masonic Widow Outreach program for all widows of brothers of the 5th NE District who reside in Chicago or elsewhere.
On Saturday, December 17th, a group of volunteers delivered a poinsettia along with a packet containing information regarding Masonic resources available to assist them, including IMOS and the MAP program of the Masonic Family Health Foundation.
